We were briefed to supply a promotional team to work on a 10 day tour for 2k games. Our team would be promoting the licensed wrestling computer game WWE 2K14. The tour would follow the route of the WWE Arena tour to maximise the potential for WWE fans to sample the game.
How we did it
We supported the core team with an assistant event manager/compère, and a team of local brand ambassadors who were tech savvy and into gaming.
They would be demonstrating the game on an X-Box 360, so it was key that all staff were keen gamers, and ideally WWE fans too!
Our AEM supported the EM throughout, and took to the microphone to compère/meet and greet session with a WWE star in each city visited. Meanwhile our BA's engaged with the public, demonstrating the game and encouraging people to enter a daily competition.
